For our wooden cable drums, we use - depending on the requirements - untreated, heat-treated (ISPM No. 15) or deap-pressure impregnated conifer timber from sustainable forestry, which is PEFC certificated. We produce wooden cable drums with a flange-diameter of 600 mm to 4500 mm, a bearing capacity up to 50 t and with drum cores of different material. Our range of drum cores comprises of plainly jointed or plugged core bars of conifer timber as well as drum cores of plastic or steel. Furthermore, we offer our patented hardboard core which is especially suitable for sensitive cables and wires due to its very even and water-resistant surface.
